| Welcome to our twenty-eighth monthly newsletter. We are back home and catching up on three months of being away. We are also catching up on our sleep. On our way back from Japan, we stopped in Saipan, Guam, and Hawaii, assuming that would help us with any potential jet lag. Six hours’ time difference versus eleven hours we thought would save us. It hasn’t; the jet lag is real. During the trip, Robin and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary. We were given the cake after we got up and danced at a luau, not in Hawaii, but on the Island of Saipan. Saipan is an island close to Japan and near Guam that played a critical role in WWII. We will publish our Saipan-Guam post next month, and it will provide some details about the role of Saipan and Guam in helping the US protect our interests in the Pacific.. Highlights of our Recent Travel During our trip, we visited some incredible places. We have developed twenty-two blogs representing some of the highlights of the recent trip. Thirteen of the blogs have already been published and are available on CosGuide4travel.com. Please Help Us Support the Maintenance of Our Blog We are not asking you to contribute anything. But, you will do us a big favor if you visit the Amazon gear post. If you click on any of the displays or links on this post, they will take you to Amazon, where you can navigate to any place on Amazon to do your regular Amazon shopping. However, if you are planning any future trips, you will find that the Amazon Gear we recommend will make your trip more enjoyable. We use everything we recommend. Also, you will be doing us a great favor as we will get a small commission while you will get the same or better Amazon pricing, helping us offset the costs of maintaining the website. Do you only Like Pictures and Have Little Time to read the Blogs? If you prefer to look at the pictures from each city we visited quickly, please click FindPenguins. This App is fantastic. We can quickly build a collection of up to twenty pictures for each place we see on the same day we visit the places. At the end of the journey, we can easily publish a book of all the places we have visited. We used to take a fair amount of time after our trips to prepare a Shutterfly book from all our pictures. Doing that at the end of a long journey can be challenging, as it is hard to remember every place you visited months and weeks ago. Find Penguins does it all for us automatically. Technology is great. Try it out. It is free to use; you only pay if you print a picture book. The App also has an excellent feature for producing a three-dimensional map of your journey.
