| Welcome to our twenty-fifth monthly newsletter and first of 2025. We have kept our promise of only one newsletter a month. The New Website Last month, we introduced our new website, which is still accessible at Cosguide4travel.com. The new website has a much cleaner design and will be even easier to navigate. With over 100 individual blog posts, there is a lot of material on the website that was brought over and is in the process of being updated. Please take a few minutes to check out the new website and let us know your reaction to the change. Just email Cos at the email address at the bottom of the newsletter. Passports & Visas In September, I told you we would be updating our passport post to explain the new process for renewing your passport online. Unfortunately, in November and December of 2024, medical and other problems prevented us from getting it out by the end of the year. However, the good news is that we met our New Year’s Resolution #2 to get the Passport Post updated in January. Hooray!! Here it is: http://cosguide4travel.com/passports. It was our #2 resolution after “#1 Dry January.” Unfortunately, “Dry January” became a little “Damp.” This year, we are visiting several places that require visas, including India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and, for the first time, the European Union. We’ll include information about Visas in a future update of the post. All four of these places now allow Americans to apply for an eVisa, which, unlike in the past, doesn’t require you to visit the country’s embassy. Cos had to do that in Washington, DC, when he first visited India. This certainly simplified the process of getting a Visa. New Website Posts This month, we created four new posts with our marketing partner, HFB Technologies. They have already helped us improve our rankings on Google and other search engines, which enables us to tell our story to a broader audience. Please check out these new posts, and please, please, please visit the Amazon gear post. If you click on any of the displays or links on this post, they will take you to Amazon, where you can maneuver to any place on Amazon to do your regular Amazon shopping. If you are planning any trips in the future, you will definitely find the Amazon Gear that we recommend will make your trip more enjoyable. Also, you will be doing us a great favor as we will get a small commission while you will get the same or better Amazon pricing, helping us offset the costs of our new marketing partnership. Future Travel Next month, we will start our spring tour of Asia, starting in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Mumbai/Goa, India, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. We plan to prepare posts for all three countries before next month’s newsletter. Wish us luck, and as our favorite Travel guide, Rick Steves would say, “Keep on traveling.” Paul Cosgrave
